**COVERING – THE CHANGES TO THE VICTORIAN OHS REGULATIONS INCORPORATING THE NEW ‘GLOBALLY HARMONISED SYSTEM FOR THE CLASSIFICATION AND LABELLING OF CHEMICALS (GHS)’ IN VICTORIA; THE NEW ‘AUSTRALIAN CODE FOR THE TRANSPORT OF DANGEROUS GOODS BY ROAD AND RAIL EDITION 7.5 (ADG7.5)’ AND MUCH MORE** The Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) has developed the Introductory Level to Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Substances and GHS Workshop to bring you up to speed with recent changes to the Victorian OHS Regulations 2017 that have mandated the Globally Harmonised System for the Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) in Victoria; the new Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail 7.5 edition – effective 1 March 2018; as well as covering Identification, Classification, Safety Data Sheets and Labeling of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances. Organisations have an obligation to ensure all staff that come into contact with chemicals receive appropriate training for the safe storage, handling and transport of Dangerous Goods and Hazardous Substances.
