The workshop will include –

  • Globally Harmonised System for the Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) as it applies to Dangerous Goods in VICTORIA and other states; 

  • Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail 7.4 Edition (ADG 7.4) – effective 1 JANUARY 2017;

  • NEW Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail 7.5 Edition (ADG 7.5) – Released in December 2016, ADG 7.5 incorporates a number of important changes that you must be aware of.  ADG 7.5 can be used from 1 MARCH 2017 but MUST be implemented within your business by 1 MARCH 2018.



INTRODUCTORY LEVEL WORKSHOP – AM Half Day, 12 Oct 2017

The Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) has developed the Introductory Level to Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Chemicals & Hazardous Substances Storage, Handling & Transport WORKSHOP to bring you up to speed with legislation and requirements for the safe storage, handling and transport of Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Chemical and Hazardous Substances  for businesses with operations in Victoria.  The Workshop will provide an overview of the Globally Harmonised System for the Classificiation and Labelling of Chemicals as it applies to Dangerous Goods.

The Workshop will provide an overview of the NEW Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail Edition 7.5 (ADG7.5).
