Corporate Membership – Terms and Conditions of Membership

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
 
  • One Membership will apply to an organisation and its entities that share the same Australian Business Number (ABN) and trades under the same company name.
  • A separate membership will be required for organisations with entities that do not share the same Australian Business Number (ABN) and trade under the same company name.  Entities that do not share the same ABN and trade under the same company name will be referred to as a non-member of the Australian Environment Business Network.
  • The Membership fees will be determined by the number of employees within the member company.  Please refer to ‘Membership Level and Rates’ on the AEBN website.
  • ‘Individual 1 person’ Corporate Membership applies to a small organisation that consists of 1 person.  ‘Individual 1 person’ Corporate Membership will apply to an individual that wishes to take out Corporate Membership.

  • Membership to the Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) is for a 12 month period from the date membership is accepted by the AEBN management.
  • All staff within the member organisation, across Australia, will be entitled to AEBN membership services and benefits, except for the AEBN National ENW e-news where there is a limit of 8 nominated colleagues for organisations with up to 999 employees; and 12 nominated colleagues for organisations with over 1,000 employees.
  • The AEBN National ENW e-news will be distributed on Mondays of each fortnight, by email, to your nominated colleagues within your organisation.  If you would like additional colleagues to receive the AEBN National ENW e-news, an additional fee of $190 per person per annum will apply.   
  • Primary Contact Group: Your colleagues that the ‘main primary contact’ nominates to receive the AEBN National ENW e-news shall be referred to as the ‘primary contact group’.  
  • Main Primary Contact: One person (the person that applies for membership for their organisation or the person who is responsible for their organisation’s membership) will be referred to as the ‘main primary contact’. The AEBN will liaise with the ‘main primary contact’ who will be responsible for updating the organisation’s ‘primary contact group’ and other company information. The ‘main primary contact’ will notify the AEBN of any changes to the ‘primary contact group’.  

  • The ‘main primary contact’ will be contacted by the AEBN on occasions, such as – for the renewal of membership to the Australian Environment Business Network; when changes occur to the ‘primary contact group’ list; etc. 
  • The ‘main primary contact’ shall nominate colleagues to receive the AEBN National ENW e-news and shall advise their colleagues of AEBN Membership benefits and services to allow their colleagues to access the services.
  • All membership services and all editions of AEBN National ENW e-news are strictly produced for Members of the Australian Environment Business Network only.  It is prohibited to provide and/or forward any edition of the AEBN National ENW e-news, and allow access to AEBN services, to a non member organisation and/or individual.  This will result in the cancellation of membership.

  • Please note for Non-Members:  Any person(s) and/or organisation who is a ‘non member’ that accesses AEBN Membership Service(s) will be charged at the full ‘non member’ rate for each AEBN Member Service(s) that they have accessed.
  • The AEBN National ENW e-news ceases production from the first week of December and resumes on the first week of February of each year.  All other membership services and benefits are available to all members throughout the year.
  • AEBN membership will be granted to organisations that the AEBN believes will have a direct benefit.  Organisations that do not have a direct benefit, will not be granted membership.  This will be at the discretion of AEBN management.
  • An organisation seeking membership with the AEBN may not fit into the categories of membership as outlined on the AEBN website, therefore, it may be necessary to tailor a membership package for a potential member.  The AEBN management will have the final decision of the category of membership for a potential member organisation.

  • The AEBN reserves the right to apply a 10 per cent penalty fee for overdue tax invoices of 6 months and more.  The AEBN reserves the right to continue applying additional penalties of 10 per cent for each week the tax invoice remains outstanding until the funds are received by the AEBN.  The 10 per cent penalty will be calculated based on the total amount of the outstanding tax invoice.
     
  • To cancel membership, members must indicate, in an email to AEBN’s CEO, that membership is no longer required, otherwise until the cancellation notification is received, a member fee will incur.
