The Clean Energy Regulator is reminding liable entities that the 2023 Quarter 1 small-scale technology certificates (STCs) surrender deadline is 28 April 2023.
Liable entities are required to login to their REC Registry account to check that they have the required amount of STCs to meet their obligations.
The Clean Energy Regulator has advised that failure to surrender the required number of STCs by the deadline will result in a shortfall charge of $65 per certificate not surrendered.
