New self-assessment tool for small business to prevent harm to people and environment

EPA Victoria has released a self-assessment tool for small business to learn what actions can be taken to manage the risks of their business to prevent causing harm to people and the environment. 

From 1 July 2021, new environmental laws in Victoria will require all businesses to prevent and manage the risks of harm to people and the environment from their activities.

The self-assessment tool provides information on –

• What the new laws are about
• What your business needs to do
• How can I manage environmental risks?
• What else can I do to prevent harm?
