In late 2019, the SA Minister for Environment and Water had asked the EPA SA Board to review EPA’s public notification practices relating to environmental incidents as well as the recording of information on EPA’s public register. The Board has completed its review and published the final report.
As an outcome of the review, the Board has developed an updated Engagement Charter for the EPA, which includes principles for notifying the public of environmental incidents.
EPA SA is seeking comment via their online survey until 11.00pm on 31 August 2020.
