Federal Environment Minister Greg Hunt has announced 352 projects have been successful in applying for Round Two Green Army funding.
Under Round 2, funding was earmarked for activities including those in remote locations, those addressing Indigenous outcomes and those delivering threatened species outcomes.
Five service providers will help deliver the projects including Conservation Volunteers Australia and recruitment companies Manpower, Job Futures, Campbell Page and Workskil Australia.
Each project will involve a Green Army Team of up to nine participants and a team supervisor participating for between 20-26 weeks to deliver environment or heritage conservation activities.
Round 3 Green Army project applications are now open and will close on 17 March 2015.
