NSW primary piece of environmental legislation the Protection of the Environment Operations Act is undergoing its statutory five yearly review. AEBN® commented and made eight recommendations in its submission to the Act to improve the implementation of environmental protection in a clearer and more outcome focused manner.
The submission focuses largely on elements of the Act dealing with licensing issues, but also covers issues such as green offset schemes and tradeable emissions regulations.
