Australians’ new way of life in a COVID-19 environment includes social distancing, lots of hand santiser, and a new measure – the Kights Body Temperature Scanners – designed to build confidence in the workplace and the community.
The Kights Body Temperature Scanners (established by a pair of Melbourne mates whose business was also impacted as a result of the outbreak) delivers a fast, accurate, automatic, and safe body temperature scanner.
The Kights Body Temperature Scanners are now used in several organisations and locations across Australia.
The Kights Scanner uses infrared temperature detection technology to instantly alert venues to anyone entering their facility with a potentially elevated temperature reading. It can measure up to 40 people per minute and delivers an instant, accurate result – within a 0.3°C. The Kights Body Temperature Scanner is a plug and play device and importantly, it does not record or retain any private data.
“The need for us to exercise greater care in all aspects of our health, hygiene and general wellbeing has become highly apparent,” shared Kights co-Director, Andrew Maxwell.
“The Kights Scanner, although not a medical device, was introduced into the Australian market to give the option to businesses to implement additional safety measures.
The Kights Scanner is set up at an entry point to a building, stadium, or worksite, for example, and can help alert venue/organisation staff to anybody with an abnormal body temperature attempting to enter the venue”.
