    • Changes to ADG 7.6 (Australian Code for the Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road and Rail 7.6 Edition) – EFFECTIVE 1 JULY 2019
    • Ongoing changes and implementation of the Victorian OHS Regulations 2017 as it relates to Globally Harmonised System for the Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS)
    • Changes to GHS as it applies all States and Territories  
    • Updated Compliance Code for Hazardous Substances (Vic)

    NOTE:  Please advise the AEBN of the state(s) and territories that you have responsibility for, to ensure this information is covered in the Workshops.  


Organisations have an obligation to ensure their site is compliant with Dangerous Goods laws and requirements and that staff receive appropriate training to ensure the safe Storage, Handling and Transport of Dangerous Goods.  The Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) recommends that staff receive refresher training every 2 to 3 years and certainly when changes are announced.
   

The two half day Workshops have been developed by the AEBN to bring you up to date with the recent changes to dangerous goods, hazardous substances and GHS, in order for your organisation to remain compliant.

COURSE NOTES –

Course notes will be provided to all delegates on a USB.  Delegates are welcome to bring along their laptops fully charged to upload course notes.  Alternatively, you may view the presentation on the screen and take notes.  Stationery (note pads and pens) will be provided.


NETWORKING –

The Workshops will provide the opportunity to network with delegates and presenters during AEBN’s Networking Morning Tea and Afternoon Tea.  For delegates attending both Workshops, lunch will be provided.
