In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide site safety leadership to ensure facility compliance is with corporate safety standards. Implement safety directives, improve safety performance, and ensure facility safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations. You will also develop, lead and facilitate the implementation of Environment, Health & Safety strategic and operating plans for the business, monitor and report on progress and drive continuous improvement in Environment, Health & Safety.

Develop our Business:

The ability to facilitate a work environment that supports a safe and healthy culture. Assist in identifying, reviewing and advising on suitability and effectiveness of submitted risk and mitigation plans. Develop and implement Safety Management System. Develop and implement Environment Management System. Perform safety audits, inspect facilities, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards to ensure safety regulation compliance. You will also adhere to all Regulatory and Organisational requirements, policies and procedures by raising Environment, Health & Safety awareness within the business

Provide proper engagement to all the concerned stakeholders to ensure organisational performance is achieved. Preparing written and verbal advice by report to senior management and corporate. You too will have regular meetings with functional heads to understand the business and various needs across sites.

Your professional profile includes:

–  Graduation in Environment, Health & Safety or equivalent
–  Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
–  Minimum of 5 years relevant practical experience in a senior Environment, Health & Safety role in manufacturing industry
–  Minimum 2 years working in a leadership position
–  Extensive knowledge and understanding of Work, Health & Safety legislation and its practical application


–  Ability to lead application of Environment, Health & Safety strategy and operating plans in a diverse business.
–  Experience in performing Work, Health & Safety audits
–  Excellent word, excel and PowerPoint skills
–  Strong Verbal, Written and Interpersonal Skills
–  Communicate effectively to stakeholders internally and externally
–  Apply a holistic and systematic thinking to issues, situations and opportunities
