A number of significant changes from across Australia on environmental laws are currently taking place and are scheduled for released in 2019.  In Victoria, a complete overhaul of the Victorian environmental Act has taken place – the first since 1970.  This means, new environmental Regulations for Victoria will be released in 2019 and this will change the way businesses will be required to manage their organisation’s environmental…obligations and responsibilities.  Significant changes on environmental compliance in NSW, QLD, SA, TAS, NT and WA are set for release. 

To assist you, the Australian Environment Business Network’s (AEBN) together with proud Principal Partner, Russell Kennedy Lawyers have scheduled the forthcoming 2019 AEBN National Conference:  Environment, Climate Change and Energy to provide details of the changes expected OVER THE NEXT 12 MONTHS on environmental laws and compliance from across Australia; the latest science on climate change; new energy developments and funding.  

We are pleased to announce the confirmation of Keynote speakers – the Victorian Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Change – The Hon Lily D’Ambrosio;  Dr Cathy Wilkinson, the new CEO EPA Victoria;  and Prof Mark Howden, a Vice Chair IPCC and Director of Climate Change at ANU.
