The Federal Department of the Environment and Energy has released its regulatory framework.
The framework outlines the way the Department develops and administers environmental and energy regulation.
It sets out:
- what the Department regulates and its role within all levels of government;
- who is involved in environmental and energy regulation and how they interact;
- the Department’s regulatory principles and approach; and
- how it will evaluate and improve.
