The Federal Department of the Environment and Energy is inviting comment on the draft Conservation Advice for the ‘Tuart (Eucalyptus gomphocephala) woodlands and forests of the Swan Coastal Plain’ ecological community. The community is currently being assessed to determine if it is a threatened ecological community under the Environment Protection and Biodiversity Conservation Act 1999 (EPBC Act).
A draft consultation document, listing proposal and map have been released for review. Comments are due by 13 December 2017 to epbc.nominations@environment.gov.au. A list of questions to guide comments on the consultation document are available here.
