The Queensland Government has released a code of practice to assist farmers release water stored in their farm dams to creeks and rivers in the Queensland Murray-Darling Basin.
The code of practice has been prepared to provide guidance to farmers in the release of stored water to receiving waters to help them comply with the Environmental Protection Act 1994 by meeting their general environmental duty.
