The Queensland Department of Natural Resources and Mines has fined a landowner $999,780 for illegally clearing native remnant vegetation at a property in the North Burnett region.
The landowner cleared more than 350 hectares of native vegetation and was found guilty of 46 offences in the Brisbane Magistrates Court.
