The National Offshore Petroleum Safety and Environmental Management Authority (NOPSEMA) has released an information paper on oil pollution risk management to provide clarification on the regulatory requirements for oil pollution risk assessment.
NOPSEMA is seeking feedback from relevant industry stakeholders on:
- the clarity of the revised information paper;
- any suggestions for improvement to aspects not understood or in need of further explanation; and
- any significant absences or omissions that stakeholders can identify.
Comments are due by 31 March 2017 and should be forwarded to feedback@nopsema.gov.au.
