State of waste and recycling report

The Queensland Government has released the State of Waste and Recycling in Queensland 2015.
The report presents data on, and trends in, the wastes managed by 310 reporting entities during the 2014-15 financial year. The data was provided by local governments, private landfills, recyclers, organic processors, waste handlers, incinerators, industrial and mining monofills.
The data was collected by the QLD Department of Environment and Heritage Protection using the Queensland Waste Data System in compliance with chapter 7 of the Waste Reduction and Recycling Act 2011.
