Nominations have opened for the 2014 Premier’s Sustainability Awards recognising the achievements of Queensland communities, schools, individuals, businesses and industries in adopting sustainable business practices.
The 2014 award categories are Built Environment, Business Eco-efficiency, Community, Innovation in Sustainable Technologies, Rural, Small Business, the Minister’s Award for Leadership in Sustainability, Sustainability in Education, and for the first time, Sustainable Heritage.
Nominations close on 14 March and the awards presentation will take place on Friday 30 May at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
