Amendments to the Victorian Energy Efficiency Target Regulations 2008, which commenced on May 17, introduce four new prescribed activities that can be undertaken in business and non-residential premises.
These include high efficiency motors, refrigerated display cabinets, refrigeration fan replacement and commercial lighting upgrades.
An information bulletin has been prepared, however businesses should now be aware of the following:
- Four new Victorian Energy Efficiency Target (VEET) activities are now available in business and non-residential premises.
- APs need approval from the ESC before undertaking these new activities.
- Calculators for the new activities will be available soon.
- An assignment form template for the Commercial Lighting Upgrade activity will be available soon.
