Policy Action

The Australian Environment Business Network (AEBN) is Australia’s peak environment and energy industry representative body that represents and promotes industry, business and councils’ interest to Government and other stakeholders.

AEBN represents and promotes industry interest in a variety of ways, such as:

  • Inviting key decision makers to attend forums to present on topics of interest to members
  • Responding to government discussion papers and draft legislation, and produce submissions
  • Attending meetings with government bodies
  • Actively pursuing issues with government that affect our members who consist of industry, business and councils from across Australia.

Opportunity for members to provide input on AEBN submissions

The Australian Environment Business Network holds  forums whereby members will hear from environmental lawyers, the regulator, an industry perspective and other expert presenters on issues that may impact your organisation and its business operations – providing you with a clear all round understanding of the impacts to your business – enabling you to provide input to submissions by the Australian Environment Business Network to state and/or federal governments.

How can I see the outcomes of AEBN’s submissions?

All Australian Environment Business Network submissions can be viewed here.
