The cost of electricity for energy customers, such as industry, business and councils, will increase to ensure Australia's Renewable Energy Target (RET) is met. Energy customers will be required to pay more for their electricity to cover the additional cost of energy retailers' meeting their obligations regarding the sourcing of renewable energy, with large energy users picking up the largest proportion of this additional cost. This Seminar is designed to assist you in understanding how the Renewable Energy Targets (RET) , Renewable Energy Certificates (REC)...system will operate and the likely impacts to your business.

UNDERSTANDING NATIONAL POLLUTANT INVENTORY (NPI) REPORTING - WORKSHOP - AM Half Day, 12 June 2009
Each year many businesses and industries struggle to capture, interpret and report appropriate information to the National Pollutant Inventory (NPI). For certain industrial facilities, information about pollutants are required to be reported by 30 September of each year to EPA. Reporting is mandatory for those facilities that trigger the reporting threshold.
This Workshop will assist business and industry to understand the obligations under the NPI requirements and to assist you in submitting your reports by 30 September 2009.
