While trade waste disposal remains the most cost effective means of disposal of liquid waste for organisations, a number of companies have found significant benefits through harvesting this waste stream for reuse within their industrial processes.  Optimising your trade waste treatment plant will ensure compliance with trade waste regulation, and may enable greater waste water reuse.

This Workshop will provide information to assist industry, business and councils to develop systems to maximise their efforts in managing and reusing waste water resources within their organisation.  The Workshop will explore different trade waste treatment options, highlighting each option's strengths and weaknesses, and will provide a troubleshooting session whereby participants' may bring their specific issues to be discussed with the experts. 

The AEBN Waste Water Minimisation & Treatment Workshop will provide:

- An overview of trade waste regulatory system
- Examine the importance of measurement and analysis options to improve operational efficiency
- Explore waste water reuse options
- Investigate water conservation opportunities
- Identify opportunities for improving treatment plant efficiency through the use of chemicals and reagents
- Examine the strengths and weaknesses of trade waste treatment options
- Industry case studies
- Troubleshooting - an opportunity for participants to bring along their treatment plant operational issues for troubleshooting with the experts.
